The neighbors took notice real quick. The HOA Karen rushed over. I thought oh…what now? She gushed, “Oooh…that’s adorable…” Normally she’s harping about the three vintage automobiles we have parked on the premises in various states of disrepair. This time, she was tee-hee-heeing about our new home address decoration. She ooohed about how cute! I said thanks and said the new sign wasn’t bad either.
In any event, all the dog walkers have been milling around the house. Sometimes snapping selfies of themselves with the new sign in the background. On the flip side, most of their dogs have marked our yard as the preferred spot on their daily walk. I got even as we have a WiFi enabled watering system in the yard. It’s been great saying, “Alexa, water the front yard…”
In a more serious note, the wife loved the sign and that’s something.🐩
